morinone

This is a status update for everyone who watches Morinone. It is a bit long.
I’ve been wondering whether to talk about this or not, but I’m worried there will be some time before posting more videos.

After the shooting the last video, I was taking some pictures around the mountain on the way down. At that time, I slipped and broke my leg. The doctor says that, because I was carrying heavy equipment, it’s not just a light fracture.
I’ll have surgery on November 13th, and it will likely take more than a month for me to completely recover and have the cast removed.

Nature photography has been my hobby since I was teenager, and this is the first time something like this has happened. It was very surprising. I’ve written about it on my blog, but I had prepared my equipment and projects to have a perfect structure for shooting starting this month.

I work as a freelancer. From this November I was planning to put a greater emphasis on YouTube, and had prepared for that in October.I had almost completely finished preparing and shot the first video. And right then, I broke my leg.
Life can be unexpected..

But, of course, I’m not being pessimistic. When I have so much photography equipment in front of me, I naturally want to go out and make a video, but is there something else I can be doing now? Actually, I think this might be a chance to start something new.

From now on, when something comes up I’d like to notify you on Instagram and my blog. English updates are a bit slow due to of translating reasons. My English is not great, so it takes me some time to reply. I apologise.

Of course, as soon as I get my doctor’s permission, I will get right back into YouTube and do my best, most likely sometime in December. As the update frequency will be slowing since October, I am very sorry to everyone who was looking forward to more videos.

As before and always, I hope you all enjoy Morinone Channel’s videos.
